What it costs
Priced per registered bed, per month. No per user fee, because charging a home more for letting another carer use the system is a strange way to run a care record.
Ask for a written quote. Tell us your registered bed count and which of the two products you want, and you get a written figure with a service agreement attached, not a “contact sales” loop.
How the pricing works
| Item | How it is charged |
|---|---|
| StaffCore, the care record | Per registered bed, per month |
| CareTime, the rota | Per registered bed, per month. Can be taken on its own |
| Extra staff accounts | Included. There is no per user charge |
| Your own database | Included. Every customer gets a separate one |
| Support, including out of hours | Included, to the level set out in the agreement |
| Getting your data out | Included, in full, in a form you can read |
What you should ask every supplier, including us
- Is my data in a database of my own, or in one shared with other homes?
- What happens to a record if the tablet is offline and the save is later refused?
- If I leave, what exactly do I get, in what format, and has it ever actually been done?
- Is there a minimum term, and what is the notice period?
- Is the system on the NHS England assured supplier list for digital social care records, and does that matter for the funding I am applying for?
On that last one, an honest answer. StaffCore is not currently on the NHS England assured supplier list. If you are applying for ICB digitisation funding, check whether your funding route requires an assured solution before you go any further with us, because for some homes it will.
